Made of wood, this SEWING CADDY is unique due to the shape, reflecting Sheraton furniture elements. The lid is covered with original, albeit thin, fabric for a pin cushion. The interior reveals three spindles to hold wooden spools plus the small whole on each panel where the thread was put through to the exterior for the seamstress to pull her thread through for sewing. No chips, the body has the original patina. Size: 9” x 5” Excellent condition considering the age.
